Tesamorelin — Peptide Intelligence Monograph

Tesamorelin — Peptide Intelligence Monograph

Short description

The Evidence Behind the Hype.

A physician-reviewed, evidence-based examination of tesamorelin from the Founder’s Institute of Medicine & Education.

Unlike many peptides promoted in the wellness marketplace, tesamorelin has been evaluated in randomized human clinical trials and has an FDA-approved therapeutic indication. This monograph examines what those studies actually demonstrate—and where extrapolation beyond the evidence begins.

Full product description

Tesamorelin has unusually strong human evidence for a peptide discussed in contemporary longevity and metabolic medicine. But that does not mean every claim made about it is supported.

Tesamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone–releasing factor analog developed to stimulate endogenous growth hormone secretion. Its clinical development produced randomized controlled human trials and ultimately FDA approval for reduction of excess abdominal fat in HIV-infected adults with lipodystrophy.

That evidence provides an unusually substantial clinical foundation compared with many peptides currently promoted online.

It also creates an important scientific question:

Which conclusions are actually supported by the clinical literature—and which claims represent extrapolation beyond the populations, endpoints, and indications that have been studied?

The Founder’s Institute Peptide Intelligence Monograph examines tesamorelin through that distinction.

Inside the monograph

  • FDA-approved indication and regulatory context
  • Safety findings and clinically relevant limitations
  • Distinction between approved use and broader off-label claims
  • Claim-by-claim FIPES evidence grading
  • What we know, what we do not know, and what research is still needed
